Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, checking, and stocking inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and within designated timeframes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and paperwork related to daily operations and inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order specifications.
- Reliability: Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
