Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and the organization of shipping docks.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment (preferred).
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory or completing safety checks.
