Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Pack, label, and prepare products for domestic and international shipment using appropriate materials.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (certification provided upon hire).
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Stock Rotation: Assist in inventory management, ensuring older stock is rotated to meet FIFO (First-In, First-Out) requirements.
- Load/Unload: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks and company vehicles.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
