Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed during material handling.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize inventory and stock shelves to maintain an efficient and orderly warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
- Assist in the packing and shipping process, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (CPL/OSHA) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong understanding of safety standards and warehouse procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging work.
