Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
- Organize the warehouse floor to ensure clear pathways and proper storage of goods.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Report any damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred, but willing to train certified candidates).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.
