As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our inventory flow is seamless and efficient during the critical night hours.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate data entry into the warehouse management system.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment daily to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on forklifts and assist in general warehouse upkeep.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFSP or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
