Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and reconciling stock against manifests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S safety standards.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight trucks, ensuring secure and safe transport.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
