As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and safely throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to production schedules and customer requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movements and checklists for equipment checks.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability: Must be willing to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
