Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly palletize products for storage and shipping, ensuring stability and safety standards are met.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping floors and organizing aisles.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Cargo Handling: Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting and scanning.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow instructions precisely to ensure accuracy in stock management.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for the forklift role.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
