Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials from trailers and storage racks.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly stack and organize pallets to maximize warehouse space and ensure product safety.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in scanning, counting, and verifying inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols regarding equipment operation.
- Load Transfer: Efficiently transfer products between dock, storage, and shipping areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- General Warehouse Tasks: Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for individuals eager to learn; we provide all necessary training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various temperatures.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Attention to Detail: High focus on safety and accuracy in handling inventory.
