Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Ensure products are properly palletized and stacked according to weight limits and safety regulations to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and reporting potential hazards immediately.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and document handling procedures (e.g., scanning barcodes, verifying orders).
- Load Preparation: Prepare shipping containers and trucks for transport, ensuring proper sealing and labeling.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work environment to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new equipment and safety protocols.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
