Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all materials are stored according to safety regulations and inventory management protocols.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using proper loading docks and equipment.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift operating experience is required; we provide training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C) is required.
