Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Load and Unload Goods: Accurately load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to streamline workflow.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Open: No prior forklift experience is necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay attention to safety details.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts (1st and 2nd shift options available).
