As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and inventory is managed accurately. We provide comprehensive on-site training for the proper certification needed to operate our machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move goods throughout the facility.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring packages are handled with care and placed in designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and performing cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential overtime during peak seasons.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
