Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks and prepare them for storage or delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy by tagging and shelving products correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet customer deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance checks on forklifts and tools.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic addition and subtraction for inventory counting.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in following safety protocols and inventory procedures.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always mandatory for internal moves.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
