Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Material Handling Equipment: Drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Load Preparation: Package, label, and prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies; wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to coordinate logistics and workflow.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Candidates with zero experience are encouraged to apply; we provide the training.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate powered industrial equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), walk extensively, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts and shipping labels.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available for full-time shifts.
