Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods throughout 500,000 sq ft facility
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Load/unload trucks using efficient stacking methods while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and report safety hazards immediately
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in temperature-controlled environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and pallet calculations
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- Proficient in digital inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
