Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Accurately receive, scan, and stage incoming shipments using RF scanners
- Maintain organized inventory records and perform cycle counts as assigned
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new hires on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support special projects requiring material handling expertise
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse forklift operation experience
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology and inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime
