Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline the picking and packing process and meet daily targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Valid and up-to-date).
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
