Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping while maintaining strict inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets efficiently.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility of stock.
- Complete daily logs and safety documentation as required by management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class A, B, or C) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.
