Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory according to established labeling systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance (OSHA standards).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Perform order picking and palletizing efficiently to reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
