Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly and damage is minimized.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and labeling procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use handheld scanners.
