Your Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that our inventory is managed accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, locate, and relocate materials within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities against packing slips.
- Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using proper equipment and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
