Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and turret forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize inventory, label pallets accurately, and maintain a tidy work area (5S standards).
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
