Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records through systematic tracking systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company equipment maintenance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform quality inspections on products and packaging before shipment
- Assist in organizing warehouse storage areas for maximum space utilization
- Complete daily equipment pre-operation checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and order verification
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
