Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, stocking, and organizing of inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack orders to meet daily shipping targets and customer deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CP, RF, or CDL Class B preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekend shifts and overtime as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Tools: Proficiency with warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.
