Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in warehouse/distribution settings
- Load/unload trucks, organize inventory, and maintain accurate stock records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Operate in climate-controlled and outdoor environments as needed
- Assist with inventory audits and warehouse cleanliness initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
