As a Forklift Operator at Columbus Supply Chain Solutions, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations. You will ensure that inventory is moved accurately and safely, maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., order pickers, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Load, unload, and stage pallets and containers for shipping and receiving.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock locations are organized.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and climbing ladders.
- Valid driver's license is preferred, but not mandatory if willing to undergo paid training.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
