Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Accurately load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring all items are secured and accounted for.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and inventory organization to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and pick tickets, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (Reach Truck, Order Picker, or High Reach).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and inventory labels.
