Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize inventory flow and storage efficiency
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Complete accurate documentation of inventory movements and equipment logs
- Support inventory control processes through cycle counts and audits
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
- Work overtime shifts as needed to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends for overtime
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Forklift experience in warehouse/distribution setting preferred
