Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols while operating machinery.
- Verify shipments against loading documents and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, clutter-free warehouse floor to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking systems.
