Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks of the forklift to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current and valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping orders.
- Availability: Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including weekends and/or nights if necessary.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
