Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Accurately track inventory using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management software
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet production targets
- Adhere to strict quality control protocols during material handling processes
- Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation activities
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
