Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and distribute materials according to stock location and organizational systems.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, including daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, reports, and digital inventory records.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
