Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Execute rigorous inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize daily production schedules and meet tight deadlines.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of shipments for domestic and international distribution.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid, unexpired forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain precise inventory records.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass a physical agility test to ensure safety compliance.
