Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas to optimize workflow.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory systems.
