Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
