Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Inventory Management: Accurately log inventory movements and maintain organized warehouse aisles.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and material transfers.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL preferred) and willingness to obtain additional certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
