Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and document all movement of goods using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding material handling and safety regulations.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and forklift maintenance basics.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret warehouse labels and tags.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
