Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Uphold strict 5S standards for workplace organization and safety
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience in a distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
