Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory counts and accurately document material movements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train on new equipment technologies and safety procedures as required
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 1+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and pallet calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (outdoor warehouse environment)
