Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality before use.
- Organize inventory, stock shelves, and ensure accurate stock counts using inventory management systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory accuracy.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
