Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and easily accessible.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure workplace for everyone.
- Material Handling: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label goods for shipment to ensure damage-free delivery.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
