Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Receive, verify, and accurately document incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and storage zones are free of hazards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads and inventory managers to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in inventory control by ensuring stock levels are accurate and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and nights if required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
