Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report equipment or safety concerns immediately
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Support training initiatives for new team members on equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime
