Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and verifying stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and clutter-free warehouse environment to facilitate workflow.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inventory reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFL) required; on-the-job training available for the right candidate.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety when handling inventory and equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
