Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and inventory management skills
