Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain a 100% safety record by following all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Keep the warehouse organized, ensuring accurate inventory placement and retrieval.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Complete daily logs and reports regarding inventory movements and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator License (certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a forklift proficiency test on site.
