Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and dock operations as required
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 1+ years of operating experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
