Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and stage materials, ensuring proper placement and organization on pallets.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all forklift equipment to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock counts as required by management.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (preferred) or a strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to train.
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL or equivalent) is required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
- Reliable transportation to the facility.
